I am that person that is interested in all musical equipment. Yes, also those weird solid state amps that everybody just avoids. What makes it tick? Why does it work the way it works? Or why doesn’t it work?
I have serviced and repaired a lot of vintage amps and pedals, build my own amps and pedals and work on guitars and basses. And as a bass player by heart (and guitar player by choice) I use my knowledge also on stage to add that extra to the mix.
Am I a professional? No, I am not. My main job is being a medical professional so I have little time to spend on this hobby. But it is really addictive!
